Inspections requested by governmental institutions and the investigation of the causes of accidents involving gas appliances

Investigations into the cause of accidents involving gas appliances must be objective and impartial. As an impartial institution that makes a considerable contribution to the public interest, JIA carries out research and experiments when governmental institutions, the police, the fire services or courts of law request us to investigate the cause of an accident. We also accept requests from consumers’ groups to verify and inspect the specifications and safety of gas appliances.
