Training of Gas Appliances Setting Specialists (GSS)

In cooperation with the Japan Gas Association, JIA carries out installation training covering permanent domestic gas appliances such as gas-fired baths or boilers, the eco-friendly Eco-Jozu condensing type water heaters and Eco-Will gas engine water heaters, cogeneration, fuel cell and other new types of gas appliances. We also work towards the education of gas appliance setting specialists, gas appliances setting specialists (GSS), technicians with the requisite skills. The GSS system is run by a committee (the gas appliance installation technicians qualification system committee) composed of people from academia, fire prevention groups and building organizations involved in the installation of gas appliances.
