Implementation of examination for gas engineers

The two major types of licensed gas operators in Japan, general gas operators and community gas operators, are obliged to employ gas technicians in order to ensure the safety of work, maintenance and operations at gas facilities. In 1995, JIA was appointed by the Ministry of Economy, Trade & Industry as the designated institution for the testing of gas engineers. We carry out the testing of gas engineers and the issuing of their licenses.
