  2. Conformity Assessment of specified liquefied petroleum gas appliances as a registered Conformity Assessment Body under the Law concerning the Securing of Safety and the Optimization of Transaction of Liquefied Petroleum Gas.
  3. Conformity Assessment of designated specific product as a registered Conformity Assessment Body under the Consumer Product Safety Law.
  4. Inspection of specified measuring instruments as an authorized inspection organization under the Measurement Law.
  5. Administration and operation of the examination of chief gas engineers as an authorized examination organization under the Gas Utility Industry Law.
  6. Training for gas appliances installation work.
  7. Inspection under the Japanese Industrial Standardization Law.
  8. Inspection of Gas Facilities as a registered inspection organization under the Gas Utility Industry Law.
  9. Testing and certification of gas appliances (excluding the specified appliances as per item 1, 2, and 8).
  10. Planning, investigation, and research on standards, criteria, inspection, testing, installation work, and use of gas appliances.
  11. Assessment and registration to international standards
  12. Qualification of gas appliances installation work specialist.
  13. Other activities required to achieve objectives of JIA.
