ISO 9001 (Quality management system)

JIA-QA is accredited by the Japan Accreditation Board for Conformity Assessment (JAB) and RvA in the Netherlands (with registration Number : C141), as a certification body in the gas industry, gas appliance manufacturing, machinery, automobiles, electronics, metals, chemicals, food, services, etc., for ISO 9001 certification.

ISO 14001 (Environmental management system)

JIA-QA is accredited by JAB in 32 scope categories and for ISO 14001 certification.

Automotive sector quality management system

JIA-QA is accredited with IATF 16949 certification by the IATF (International Automotive Task Force) and conducts certification (one of only two certification bodies in Japan). In addition, EU-WVTA is required to export vehicles to Europe. JIA-QA is the first Certification Body in Asia designated by KBA to issue CoP certificate based on Approval Relevant Requirement (ARR).

ISO 22000 / FSSC 22000 (Food safety management system)

JIA-QA conducts ISO 22000 and FSSC 22000 certification based on our wide experience and high levels of expertise in HACCP-9000® on the basis of a license agreement with NSF International, a third-party certification body in the United States which is internationally recognized in the field of public hygiene.

ISO 50001 (Energy management system)

The introduction of our energy management system not only improves the energy performance of an organization but it is also expected that this system can enable a decrease in energy costs as well as add points in green purchasing and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) procurement. JIA-QA has had the close relation with Energy industry.

OHSAS 18001 (Occupational health and safety management system)

The introduction of OHSAS can enable social trust by realizing a decrease of the risk of work-related accidents.

Verification of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions

JIA-QA is registered as the verification body under the obligatory system executed both in Tokyo and Saitama with respect to business units whose energy usage is 1,500 kL or more (crude oil equivalent) a year, and conducts GHG emissions verification. JIA-QA has 50% market share of Top-Level facility (factory) verification in Tokyo last year.

Verification under carbon footprint (CFP) system

In the newly established "CFP Pilot Project" conducted by METI, JIA-QA is taking part in the "Proving test on the per-item verification by verification body," which was started this year (there are only two Japanese verification bodies).
